Dr. Etienne P. Lacrampe is a native of the East Bay. After graduating with a degree in history from UC Davis, Dr. Lacrampe decided to follow the footsteps of his father and pursue a career in dentistry. He graduated with his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2003.
After spending significant time observing Dr. Robert Marks and Dr. Don Morris, he elected to attend a specialty residency in periodontics and dental implants, obtaining his Certificate in Periodontics and Dental Implants from Oregon Health & Sciences University in 2006. Additionally, Dr. Lacrampe is an Associate Professor of Periodontics at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Dr. Lacrampe stays on top of the most recent technologies, trends, and techniques through hundreds of hours of continuing education annually. This affords him the ability to perform soft tissue grafting without the use of a palatal harvest site. Such a technique enables an excellent esthetic result without the need for a second, more painful surgical site. This is just one of many techniques that Dr. Lacrampe has perfected to provide excellent care to his valued patients.
Dr. Lacrampe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology which designates his successful completion of a rigorous board certification process. In addition to being board certified, he is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Contra Costa Dental Society, and the California Society of Periodontists.
When he is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, and their sons, Lucien and Sebastien. The entire family enjoys spending time in the numerous parks, hiking paths, and running trails of Northern California.
